I do not have much information on this school. Interestingly the Type 1 is inverted here, being held in a reverse grip, and therefore becoming effectively a Type 2 (a flail) in many instances.
Kamae holding chain, held inverted.
Straight cast from left hand by throwing, now becomes flail.
Flail hit, downwards.
Downward blocking with blade, reverse grip.
Upward block reverse grip, off-hand repositions on chain.
Entanglement from bind.
Pull down from hand entanglement, weapon released.
Blocking with the chain.
Wrap entangle from thrust.
Wrapped in middle.
Going in with them pulling up.
This, smack in head.
Pull down from entangle.
Now against spear.
Flowing retreat, chain deflection.
Bind at the weakness, winding, enter.
Deflection and wrapping entanglement with the chain.
Deflection with chain, bind with sickle, levering from the weakness, entering.
The demonstration from which the stills are taken:
Kamae holding chain, held inverted.
Straight cast from left hand by throwing, now becomes flail.
Flail hit, downwards.
Downward blocking with blade, reverse grip.
Upward block reverse grip, off-hand repositions on chain.
Entanglement from bind.
Pull down from hand entanglement, weapon released.
